Mazey Gardens Exclusive

This photo sure brings back memories. One of Mazey's favorite spots to watch the sunset was at this Culver City overlook not far from our old offices on Jackson Ave. On his last trip to the West Coast Mazey jumped on the rock and roll bandwagon with this never before heard cover of Guns N Roses' "Paradise City." Allegedly 20 minutes long, this is all that remains of the original masters.

Please visit the home of Mazey Gardens. iTunes respective coming soon.

Attention L.A. Pixies Fans!

We caught up with Ben Sisario today in his Rancho Park "office" as he prepared for this Saturday's reading at Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena. Ben will be reading selections from his recently published book on the Pixies' magnum opus, "Doolittle."

In other news, Ben went to Bob Newhart's house in Bel Air yesterday, and shot a wicked round of Par 3 golf this afternoon.

Work Continues on Ron Revog Album #9

FTP troubadours Ron Revog are reportedly 'over the hump' as work continues on upcoming opus 'Belly Flop'. Tracks include: CEO, Green Meadows, Julia Kills, My Wife Don't Like Verb, Copy & Paste, Jelly Bath, Chrysanthemums and Roses and more.

Recently asked about the record, Lawrence stood up from his armchair and said, "It is cruel, you know, that music should be so beautiful. It has the beauty of loneliness and of pain, of strength and freedom. The beauty of disappointment and never-satisfied love. The cruel beauty of nature, and everlasting beauty of monotony."

Three song preview available here.

Recently began process to upload GJ's third album "Goth Bless America" as well as four albums from the Ron Revog canon to the iTunes music store, although reason for doing so remains unclear. Stuff should be up in a few weeks, or so they tell me...
