Corretja reforms!

Mark Southworth and Brian Laoue flew out to LA this weekend to record new material for the upcoming Corretja album. Fred Z. (Rita Burrita) joined them on "lead guitar" for this passionate Earth Crisis cover, which proves the band hasn't forgotten their roots.

The Defenders Love Pizza.

While we're waiting to get the live recording of Ben and Sam's scorching cover of "River Euphrates" at Union Pool, why not check out this chopped and screwed remix of the Defender's classic "Go Go Dominoes." Recently 'restored' from 30 year old tape found in the basement.

Ron Revog "jams" in New York.

A unique line-up of the Vog showed up to a shoddy NYC rehearsal studio last week to rock material from the upcoming album. Marc and Sam were joined by Ben Sisario on drums and Jeremy Adelman on bass, and minidiscs were burned to a crisp. The band was in 'top form' as they tore through such future classics as Poolyard and Solar Energy (You're My Baby).

(ps.don't tell Danzig about their irreverant reworking of Twist of Cain.)

In other Revog news, the newly resequenced "Genealogy" album is now available on iTunes. Download it today!
