The Defenders "Defender"

After blowing away Charlottesville, VA with their rowdy brand of rock n roll hi-jinks, The Vitamen relocated to NYC/Hoboken, NJ as a Whitney-less power trio. (as documented on the Metal Party '97" demo.)

In less than a year, the band was down to just Ben and Sam, and in a desperate attempt to hang on to their dilapidated rehearsal room they dubbed themselves the Little Lovers (during an intense AC/DC phase) and got to work. The Little Lovers immediately switched their name to The Defenders after they plugged in and ripped this epic 12 minute cover of Manowar's "Defender."

(PS. drag that picture down to your desktop to get a better look at Don Knotts and the exploding beer foam.)
