We caught up with Ben Sisario today in his Rancho Park "office" as he prepared for this Saturday's reading at Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena. Ben will be reading selections from his recently published book on the Pixies' magnum opus, "Doolittle."

Attention L.A. Pixies fans who are also par 3 fans: the Rancho Park municipal course, just a block away from Rudyland HQ, is a gem of a spot; highly recommended. Also, if a dude named Chuck (I think that was his name) tries to shake you down for an ad hoc lesson at the driving range, you might want to take him up on it-- he improved my swing tremendously and it only cost me $5.
